What this edit is

A US-focused directory of 77 practical kitchen, desk, repair, travel and pet finds, each with a dated price check. Fourteen are stronger editor picks selected as the core edit; the rest extend the browsable directory without pretending every item has the same editorial weight. Fifteen editorial notes add the reasoning behind recurring use cases, fit, and limitations. We deliberately favor specific little fixes over products that are already household names.

Research is not a hands-on test

Specifications and listed prices come from the official product pages or retailer listings linked on every card. Suitability and “the catch” are our editorial analysis. We have not bought or tested these products, verified long-term durability, or independently measured performance. We do not turn creator recommendations into claims of firsthand experience.

What “under $25” means

We screen the ordinary US dollar price of the exact item or stated pack: strictly below $25, excluding tax and shipping. Membership, subscription and coupon-dependent prices are not used as the default. Prices are not live and we do not calculate delivery charges. Confirm the precise variant and final cart total; a cheap item can be poor value once delivered.

How we make money

Right now, we do not earn commissions from this pilot. Links go directly to retailers, and there are no paid placements. We may test affiliate relationships later, but that will not change how products are selected; any commission relationship will be disclosed before you click.

Links and independence

Product links are ordinary retailer links unless a card clearly says otherwise. Editorial images are AI-generated illustrations—not photographs of the recommended products. Product cards stay text-first until accurate, licensed product images are available.

Feedback and privacy

The public Vercel site currently does not store page-view events, retailer-link clicks, or feedback votes in an editorial database. We may add aggregate event tracking later to understand which shortlists are useful, but we will keep it separate from names, emails, IP addresses, persistent visitor identifiers, verified purchases, and conversion claims. The owner-only review workflow is not part of the public browsing experience.

We do not set advertising or analytics cookies. The hosting service may process network information for security and operation. Please do not interpret test visits as evidence of market demand.
